2021.09.28 22:54 conradical30 North County golf courses

Next month, a bunch of friends and I are getting together for our annual golf tourney. I’ve been asked for recommendations since I am local enough to the vicinity, but I’ve never played any of the courses way up around Vista/Carlsbad. We are trying to stick to public courses that are under $150/each (so Torrey is out due to the booking fees and out-of-town costs). Our group, as of now, has penciled in Arrowood, The Crossings at Carlsbad, and Encinitas Ranch. Curious as to your thoughts on these courses - worth it for the price and worthwhile for some guys coming from all over Southern California?

2021.09.28 22:54 Rodari_12 Which charities can I volunteer with as a listener other than Samaritans?

I did Nightline at when I was studying (peer-to-peer listening support) and I'm really hoping to get back into volunteering with a charity or hotline. Which organisations are in need of hotline volunteers? The only one that immediately comes to mind is Samaritans and from what I know they have a bit of a backlog, I've also found The Listening Place online but outside of this nothing comes to mind.

2021.09.28 22:54 theoxygenthief I played with a guy who hits 380yd drives today.

He also sunk a putt from about 25yds on a difficult green. Never seen such raw talent on display. And he’s not even serious about golf. Plays maybe once every few months. I’m still trying to convert my frustration about it to motivation. That is all.

2021.09.28 22:54 ars4l4n Can't figure out how to properly route Reaper channels to my Maschine VST

As advised in a post I read, I started with a Reaper track containing a sample and an empty track with the Maschine 2 VST loaded up.
The track with the sample sends its' content to the track with the Maschine 2 VST.
This enables me to record the audio in the Maschine 2 VST and slice it up.
So far so good, but when I play back the sample from Reaper I hear it twice - once for each Channel.
Muting the Channel with the Maschine 2 VST creates the issue that I don't hear notes played on the Maschine anymore.
How am I supposed to properly route this?

2021.09.28 22:54 pattern144 How beneficial are MMA skills in a street fight?

All pro MMA fights are so much different than real street fights. Real fights are always super sloppy and hectic. MMA fights are so much different in the sense that the guys or girls fighting often disengage.

2021.09.28 22:54 d3vilsfire [EVENT] Continuing the Industrialization of India

India is continuing on the path of industrialization. We have seen economic growth especially with Swedish, German, and Soviet companies entering into India. While the Federal government has also participated in encouraging economic growth, the government system has relied more on state governments encouraging growth. Therefore, there has actually been a decent amount of migration between states as certain states have begun focusing on certain industries that are more prevalent in their region than the others.
However, the Federal government is looking to provide more direct support, and encourage our shift from a predominantly agrarian economy into a modern industrialized nation. Chancellor Morarji Desai has announced plans to see the rapid industrialization by 1970.
Phase 1 (1950-1955): Already mid phase 1, India has focused on the collective sprouting of millions of rural enterprises across India's vast countryside and small towns. Understanding that these enterprises will be the prime driver for national economic growth, we hope to see the number of village firms increase, the village industrial gross output increase drastically, the village peasant-workers grow steadily over the next several years, and then also see a positive effect on farmers' aggregate wage income which should increase rather drastically. In doing this we hope to see phenomenal growth in the supply of basic consumer goods, which should also bring an end to current food security problems, while preventing future problems. The biggest beneficiaries of the phase 1 reforms will be the farmers, as we look to develop the economy.
Phase 2 (1955-1960): In phase 2, we will look towards the mass production of labor-intensive light consumer goods across India's rural and urban areas, relying first mainly on imported machinery. We have already imported a large amount of British machinery from our colonial time period, but we have also been importing Swedish, German, and now Soviet machinery. We will continue to do this, with machinery being for both defense and for civilian use. During this phase, we hope to strengthen our exports and become the largest producers and exporters of key resources/materials in India. It is critical that we are exporting not the natural resources, but actual products that are being built in India. With our lower labor costs, and hopefully severely improved factory output, we should be able to enter the civilian market and provide goods that the people would want. Our rural enterprises from phase 1, we hope to see continued hyper-growth, and we hope that those workers will reach roughly 1/3 of our entire rural labor force. Village industrial output grew will also hopefully grow as we promote the economic and industrial growth of these industries.
Phase 3 (1960-1970): The idea behind phase 3 is to support the mass production of phase 2. This means that during this phase we will be focusing on the mass production of the means of mass production. Given our focus on the mass industrialization, we believe there will be a rapidly and enormously expanding domestic market for intermediate goods, machinery and transportation in India. As a consequence, there will be a big surge in the consumption and production of coal, steel, cement, chemical fibers, machine tools, highways, bridges, tunnels, ships, etc. With this, we will have to improve our infrastructure in order to handle these developments. India already boasts one of the best railway systems in the world, but we will look to continue to expand and develop this system, as well as improving other means of transportation.
By the end of 1970, we hope to see roughly 2.6 million miles of public roads built. The connection between states being federal roads, but within the states being state-owned. The federal government will also be responsible for the nearly 70,000 miles of express highways. We will also look for means to improve and expand upon our current rail systems in order to increase the efficiency of them and the amount that can be transported. This is a project that will not begin in 1960, but actually will start now with the goal for conclusion to be 1970. This means we have roughly 17 years for these developments and improvements. We will look towards outside sources in order to help us along in this process, and with our partnership with German synthetic industries should be a huge gain for our goal of rapid industrialization.
